SCHOOLS OVER (:

Within about a week or so school will be ending . I'll be leaving my 7th grade friends back in Ilima. I'm headed towards the big kid school where you get judged on from colleges. I feel very excited to meet new people along my journey and at the same time I'm afraid of messing up. Hopefully with all the big kids I will grow to be a very successful person and a very mature one in fact.

Since this was a blog for my school assignments I am not sure if I will be updating during the summer. This is due to summer school and other things in fact. Yet if I remember and I have time to spare I shall create more posts for this blog. I don't even know if I will continue since I don't have visitors from around the world. That is because I don't really comment on other peoples blog. Probably due to all the work for school. anyways other than that BAIII "D

Durig the second week of fourth quarter we did an activity called Orientation for sixth graders. We had to welcome alot of people to the school and show them that the school isn't scary. We also showed them around campus, told them about the bell schedual and the first day they come to school . Orientation was done by us leadership students at the cafe in school . I had to create a banner to hold up and help explain to the students about schedual pick up and the prices. It included bus prices, lunch, student fees , planner and yearbook. We also had to incorporate two dances for orientation one for our period dance and one for our whole entire group dance. In the end we all had a great time meet ing the new sixth graders and had no problem with it. I'm glad that orientation is over because it's like a huge load lifted off your shoulders.

iMOVIE

Well if you haven't read my first blog post about incorporating technology in my leadership classroom I would like to tell you an example of that. In my leadership period my teacher told my class that three of us had to do an iMovie on one of the apple computer's. The iMovies was to talk about our self's making sure that we include our interests and hobbies. The iMovie today just included that and the top three things to do. Since I used iMovie before in 6th grade in order to make a video about child abuse and how it's wrong. So I had background knowledge knowing how to use the application on the computer. The challenge to me was the fact that I couldn't make the video very " effect like " sadly it was done last minuet and I was rushing. Also because I couldn't use the music on iTunes. On the good side though at least it was completed (:

Technology in the classroom ^______^

Today in leadership class we found a new way to incorporate technology in our work. Our teacher showed us that we can now submit work by using either this blogger or our personal website. In my opinion I love how we can be more high tech and not much writing is needed to do anymore. I find it pretty cool with our teacher thinking "out side the box" because none of my teachers really incorporate websites and blogs in their work. I can't wait for what the rest of this quarter has in store for us ;D
